    Hi all,

Last step - i hope - for my bldc card.

Thanks first for all helpful advices from forum members.

    So query as usual:

On my burnt bldc card, i see a SMD choke , and i'd want to replace by discrete component only.

The only thing sure for me is that this choke protects igbt module, from brushless inductive loads overvoltage.

    Value is about 680µH and i rated about 4,7 A V bus voltage : 340 V

I have selected two chokes, is it a good choice ; if negative why?

    Delevan series: CM1011-754 750 µH 6,7A

    CM1011-105 1000µH 5,7A

Bad choices , inductors are for common mode

Is ring core an other name for common mode?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks a lot.
