thanks guys i'll look into it , just all the errors is putting me off a bit , its hard enough at the moment without being led up the wrong path , by a dodgy paragraph or schematic .

 

Apparently theres a second edition available for (practical electronics for inventors ) which has had a thorough clean up ,and new sections added .Gonna order it tomorrow
