Hi,

please, can you tell about the number of IGBT transistors with low cost.
I need them to use them in a 4-Quadrant Chopper to use it in a DC motror speed control.
the Nominal voltage source is 40 volt Max for the motor.

Would you please specify what you consider low cost. Are you going to buy a few or will there be a volume order. If you have a relationship with a distributor ask for samples. Free is as good as it gets.

How hard did you try to find these parts? A two click query to DigiKey produced

10A Part
Fairchild ISL9V2040 cut-tape $ 1.78, bulk $1.90

15A Part (you do want some margin right?)
OnSemi MPG15N40 bulk, $2.70
OnSemi NGD15N41 cut-tape, $1.84

Where do I send my bill for purchasing services? I'd say less than half your minimum price was a good days work, eh? (Just kidding about the bill part, but my wife makes big bucks as a purchasing manager; she does this stuff day in and day out)
