hope everybody will be fine as i m new with this IGBT stuff..
Actually am doing a project regarding switching with igbt..
what i had done so far is that i made gate pulses using ATMEGA16 , for switching purpose of IGBT..
what next i need to do is to attach a gate driver IC or circuit for IGBT, and then IGBT , moreover at load side i will use a resistive load for testing purpose, later then i will put a motor(230V/5A or <10A) at load ..
can you please tell me the circuit information(schematics etc)..

I'm doing the same thing as you.. but my project is to observe the switching performance using IGBT... may i know how you design the gate pulse???

 

What is the switching speed you need?
This is for a DC motor I presume(?).
