I have a 9.5 amps electrical motor. I have connected one terminal of the run winding (white) and the violet wire and it turns. How do I know which is the other wire I have to connect so it can turn in the opposite direction. Attached is a photo of the motor.

Reversing either the run winding pair, or the start pair, you will reverse direction.
You need the four ends to do it though.
