identifying part

Hello,

Attached is an image of a part I could use some help identifying.

It is out of a generator and was in series with a potentiometer (only 2 of the three terminals, the other was unconnected)

I guess it is a power resistor but this is a guess.

I do get 230'ish ohms across the outside most (dirty) terminals and 140'ish ohm between the one other set (from the lead labeled common to the lead still attached.

It is not a resistor, that's for sure. What is the left most one?? Is it COM?? Looks like a multimeter pin:D

That's what it looks like to me 10-20 watt.

MMH - yes the left most label is "COMMON", middle =
"110 115 240" and end opposite COMMON is "120"
