hi ppls..
i m doing a final year project in my uni which need me to program a PIC 16F877A to identify snellen charater.
for that i need to connect PIC wit rs232 wit a max232 chip to a pc serial port then wit the keyboard i key in wat i c in the snellen chart.
then if it is correct the counter will be counting until i key in wrongly it will end and then the 7 segments will show my score..

anybody know how 2 program the setting of the libraries n the setting of the ports and also the rs232?? oh yah and those #fuses and clock as well..
cos i hv no idea what to do with it..
