Does anybody have a clue wat the "BSC", in the dimension specification for Small Outline packages for ICs actually means.

I need the dimensions of the spacing between two pins in a SOT 23-5 package IC. However, the dimensions are expressed in "0.55 BSC" etc. Therefore, umless I figure out what BSC is, I'm stuck at square one. My efforts on Google, so far have returned futile results.

It took some time to find it but in the end here is what I found.

The spacing between the two pins on SOT23 is 1.9mm.
