Can someone help?

 

I've gotten it from an old DVD, the thing has the markings MYS on top of it, but only that

 

It's NEO S88. I have an IR Led and I would like to do something like infrared sensor on my Arduino board with those two components.

 

Hi,

IR LED (PHOTOTRANSISTOR) have a 3 pins. facing from you Left pin is 5v vcc/middle pin is signal output/right pin is gnd.

Hi, Jim! Yeap, it worked. I am trying to do something like remote control robotic hand and now that I am done with the sensor part, I need to find a way to program the whole thing
