hi there,
i want a mosfet switching circuit as a replacement for 2/2 relay,
i want to change the driving voltage from 12v to 5v,i was told that its much reliable to use mosfet switching circuit instead of using a relay.
please any one provide one for me..

A relay can handle large voltages and high currents, plus AC voltages. FET's can switch large DC voltages and currents. A CD4016 (use a 4066 instead) can handle very small voltages and almost no current.

What voltage and current are you interested in switching? May we assume than a "teo by two" relay is a double pole type? Is that double pole & double throw?

actually i have drawn some ckt using cd4016b ic,
for creating a DPDT type relay equivalent,i had to use two cd4016b's,
(each IC comprise of four switches)
one switch for relay control,and four switches for i/p o/p switching.
(current?? well may be in milli ampere range,thats all.
voltage maximum of 12v{this 12v is an input to be switched}
and supply voltage is 5v.
