I want to clarify some details about this LED driver.

While looking on the internet for LED controllers I found this "In-line RGB LED Tape Controller"
LINK: https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/SK153702.html?

It states the power supply ranges for 5-24VDC - Fine - but it say it's compatible with 12-24VDC light strips.
1. Its says 5-24vdc so could I use a 5v light strip?
2. Instead of a 5v light strip, would it work if i just had 5 rbg LEDs with red to red, green to green connected, ect

Thanks, Bod.

I believe it is just taking the input voltage and outputting 3 PWM signals at that same voltage. If you use individual RGB LEDs, you will need a current limiting resistor for each one. The strips have these built int.
