I want to control our billboard, and they can power off and power on automaticly everyday, a engineer told me can try this product, he said this can control by Latitude and longitude, but I do not sure if this can realy do that?
please give me some advise

That's kind of silly, controlling by latitude and longitude.

Basically, you want the lights to come on when it's dark, and turn off when it's light, right?

 

My guess is that it calculates sun rise and sunset throughout the year based on Latitude and the time of day programmed in buy the user. I suppose it could have a GPS receiver that loads information that automatically.

How about just making a light sensor with one of these:

Then turn your billboard light on when it get's dark? Then run it for a specified time or wait until the light sensor says it's light again? That's what I do for this lighting system.
