# i need help basic math, me forgot formula

answer = 287 /_ 80º

the 80º how to find out? can anyone show me the formula and steps for scientific calculator to press?

or

50 + j471

answer = 473.6 /_ 84º

the 84º how to find out? can anyone show me the formula and steps for scientific calculator to press?

i did with this formula

but my answer came out was 10 /_ 40.97˚

the correct answer is 36.8 ˚

which is exactly answer?

also i using the formula on picture above but the below 2 my answer wasn't same to the below answer, why?

50 + j282.6

answer = 287 /_ 80º

answer = 473.6 /_ 84º

IR answer is: 2.31/20 = 120 /_ 0ºA

IY answer is: 2.31/22.36 and -120º+63.43 = 100 /_ -56.57ºA

TB answer is: 2.31/31.62 and +120º-18.43º = 70 /_ 101.57ºA

how come my answer is not same to the picture?

Like JoeJester, I too got answers different from those shown in the three problems. The magnitudes in the answers I calculated were off by a factor of 10.

no no, those i wrote in the quote is my own answers. i'm not sure it is correct or not

only answers in the picture below is correct

your answer close to the picture's answers, it seems you are correct.

this one my answer same as yours. but what my problem is the answer i did from my sire's question is not same as what sire's answer.

e.g
2.31/20 = how much you calculated? what is your answer?
my answer is 120 but my sire's answer was 11.55

e.g
-120º+63.43 = how much you calculated? what is your answer?
my answer is -56.57º but my sire's answer was -103.43ºA

you try this 2. i'm confused how come both cannot matches with sire's answers

sorry my mistaken i never reset the small button on the back of my scientific calculator. i has reset it now the answers came out corrected! thanks you for your informations otherwise i never solved the questions
