Hello, I have a Hub Motor that had a failed Hall Effect Sensor failed. I'm looking for a replacement but I'm not sure if this is the correct one.

I'm not sure what BF 011 is but that's the only thing missing with that item. If you know a better replacement that can be used I'd be happy to hear it too.

 

That is a 2n5551 gen purpose bipolar transistor. As per the Digikey device.

Hey Max, thanks. Yeah, I didn't realize that it wasn't the hall effect sensor. I found the Hall Effect Sensor but I'm not seeing any writing on them.

 

Does the Hall look like the transistor? If so Honeywell make the SS400 magnet sensor series in that package.

Red cable + - 5.15V
Sensor operates @ 0.1v to 3.31V

Would the Honeywell SS400 work still?
