Power bill? I have an electric heater computer rack (less peak power than a conventional electric heater) for the 2 car garage. It get's cold here. In the summer I use solar power to keep the critical system UPS charged. The computer rack is the primary load for my solar energy bank.

Upgrading the server farm/cooling off-grid system with another 800W of panels. Ground testing 4 panels before being mounted.



Now I need to upgrade the 12vdc backbone to a much larger gauge wire. The losses are horrible.
