How to use the ADD port of HT12E/HT12D

hi
i have one pair of HT12E/D
can any body tell how to use ADD. and DATA port's of HT12E/D in any general ckt.
as i have made one RF Tx/Rx 433 Ckt from it but no ADD port's were used in that ckt.(it was from EFY MAG.) with μCont. P89V51RD2 with LCD

any guidance
