Hi,
The battery in my GPS is exhausted, that is a T300-3 720 mAH, the one I have in hand is a MO-V220-C350 with 3 copper poles, how to soldering that? I mean what is positive and negative pole and detection line?
Thanks

Batteries are spot-welded that does not heat their insides. Soldering heats their insides that might cause a Lithium explosion and fire.
Some Ni-Cad batteries can be soldered because their chemicals do not explode and burn.

Using a battery with a wrong kind of polarity and sensor is asking for trouble. Use the correct battery.
