Hi,

I'm designing a device to charge phones. I have connected a voltage of 5V to the VBUS and GND pins. However, I have learned that Apple devices charge in a different way. So I would like to know how I can make this USB port capable of charging apple devices.

Phones and other devices use the data lines in various ways to negotiate the amount of current they draw from the host 5V supply. I'm sure someone has hacked the way Apple do things.
