hello,
i have taken a fly back transformer from a computer smps.
I want to know its inductance on both primary and secondary?

is there any simple technique to find its inductance(as well as resistance also)

If you have a known capacitor and a signal generator, you can place a resistor in series and use the cap to make a parallel tank circuit with the flyback windings. Vary the frequency until the drop across the LC tank is at it's maximum -
see the attachment..
My function generator can give 10Vpp, 10MHz sine.
what will be range of the resistance & capacitor values?
