Hello eveyone,

I‘m making imittation of solar panel voltage imput (solar radiation) + DC/DC converter + DC/AC converter (With LTSpice software):

In the scheme below it is generated AC voltage of 1 solar cell (between Vabc and Vxyz dots):

The idea is to gain 220-230 RMS Voltage to power up for example water pump. So the Vpp has to be 170V. So the AC signal should look like this:

Does anyone could help me to increase Vpp voltage from 2V to 170V? Maybe you have any idea how to multiplie cells connected sequentialy with 1 DC/AC converter? (Because I don‘t think so that every cell has it‘s own converter, or does it?) Or it will be enough to upgrade DC/DC converter to increase Vpp?

Thank You in advance!

Why not do what everybody else does; stack up a series-connected set of cells to get >24V, and then use a step-up smps.

hmm, you stated 3.3V@ 10mA = 0,03 Watt using a step-up loss 10% waterpump 0,027watt pump power available.
fact;to bring 75liter water 1 meter high in one second you need 736Watt 1pk approx.
now you can calculate the time needed to bring 1 liter of water 1 meter up.

And what about if after pumping 1 liter to 1 meter height I would like to disconnect solar panel from water pump and I would like to sell electrical energy via grid ? I would still need 170V AC ? Is it possible to modify this circuit somehow to gain 170V? Because requirement is to use DC/DC and DC/AC converters in circuit :/

240 Vrms = 170 Vpeak, not Vp-p. 240 Vrms = 340 Vpp.

What requirement?

Stepping 2 Vdc up to 220 Vrms is going to be *very* inefficient.

no problem to make 170V but the power will be no more than 0,027watt
gives you @170V 0,00015A no pump will run not even a led will go on.

Conclusion; project is useless.
