# How to get simplified expression from K-map?

Hi all,
have an exam coming up next week & trying to prepare...
Im OK with plotting a truth table to a K-map, & also grouping on a K-map but im confused on how to get the group co-ordinates from K-Map to give me my simplified expression...
I have read myself round in circles trying to get my head around this, but Im more confused than ever..

Could anyone please take the time to explain this process simply in newbie terms, I would be very grateful..

I would label the boxes differently to give me a clearer picture as follows:

Then I can see the variables clearly:

Group1 = $\overline{A}D$

Group2 =$\overline{A}BC$

Ahh, never thought of it that way, alot less confusing labeling that way.. thanks heaps
