I wanna generate a Pulse Position modulated Signal having the pulse width of 0.5 micro sec.
I treid by using a 22.4 MHz crystal..but i aint get the output...

plz help me in solving the problem..if u have any solution or code ,mail me at <snip>

 

Simply using a crystal is not quite enough to obtain a PPM signal. Are you using any other hardware? Can you post up a circuit?

i am trying to generate the signal by using c8051 micro controller....having a crystal frequency of 22.4 MHZ ..i wrote the C code..but i got output with 1 micro sec pulse width...
In the code i used the IRS(interrupt service routine) also to increase the delay...

help me ....
