You can use an external multiplexer IC or use the analog inputs of the PIC (if they are enough) and make the comparison in software.
its a silly question i know ..but how to use ADC to search highest voltageYou can apply all the signals to a series of peak detectors and use the A to D to search for the highest voltage - http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_3/chpt_3/5.html
Googling "peak detector" brings up any number of circuits, by the way.
By software I mean the program (code) the PIC is running. You can use any compiler/programmer you have to program the PIC.is there any recommended software??
what about the delay ? causes a problem right
You convert the voltages from the peak detectors on a continuous basis. The conversion with the highest value is from the channel with the loudest input.its a silly question i know ..but how to use ADC to search highest voltage
