I need help in building snubber circuit for PMDC motor which sparks very much at low freq ......
The motor was running at 24V ~~2Amps.

 

It sparks because you are running the controller at too low of a frequency. The normal frequency for PWM of a DC motor is in the 20,000 Hz range. You very the speed by changing the 'duty cycle'(time on), NOT the switching frequency.

 

OK, I will try it.
But do you think is there any need of snubber just for safety and saving power..!!
