Hi All Member,
I am a new member to this forum.
I have an old stereo cassette ONKYO TA-RW411. I need to add an aux connector to it. so I can listen MP3 from my mobile.
any idea, how to add it ? anyone can share step by step to add the aux port into my onkyo?
I have attached onkyo ta-rw411 manual, but i am not able to understand due to my lack knowledge of electronic.

thanks before.

I don't quite understand what the deck has to do with MP3.

You want to put a connector on the deck. What do you want from the connector?
Input into the deck to record on to cassette or output from the deck to play on an amplifier?

Hi MrChips,
thanks for your replay.

basically, I want to use the deck as a MP3 player with AUX connector to connect to Mobile Phone or other MP3 Player.
I dont want to use the cassette anymore.

Sorry, I still don't understand what you want to do.
If you no longer need to use the cassette deck why not get rid of it.

I don't see where the MP3 comes into the picture.
Why not just plug the MP3 player into your audio amplifier?

Hi MrChips,
basically, I want to convert the cassette player into AUX connector. I dont know which part on the schema need to change to be able to add new aux connection. appreciate if somebody can tell me how to convert the cassette player to be AUX port.
I dont have any other amplifier. I only have this cassette player.
So, I want to re-use it as a MP3 player through AUX connection.
