hello , i have successfully created a pwm controlled from a potentiometer
the frequency is 10KHz
the motor i will be controlling is a 1500 watts DC motor
i was wondering if someone can suggest what's the minimum dead time i need if i am using a irfp460 mosfet for the H bridge

Your question is impossible to answer without a detailed schematic.

Post your schematic, preferably in .png format. Use the "Go Advanced" and "Manage Attachment" buttons.

actually i don't have a schematic
and i cant draw one
i will be using a driver called TLP 250 for the mosfet but this driver don't exist in proteus (my simulator) , that's why i cant draw any schematics
i thought that my question depends on the speed of the mosfet , because every mosfet requires a certain time to shut down , so i thought tha i will use twice this time (or maybe less) as my dead time
i don't need a very accurate number , just a safe number in order to run my motor , that's all
