I am currently a student in the ELET program and i am haveing trouble.
ok i have a seires circuit and need to find E, R3, R4, V2, V4, and Is. The problem i am haveing is idk the total voltage to find the current or resistances.
my circuit:
E=?
R1=1kΩ and voltage across the resitor is +2v-
R2=2kΩ and the voltage (V2) =?
R3=? and the voltage across it is +12v-
R4=3kΩ and the voltage (V4)=?
Is=?

Please help.

If R1 drops 2V @ 1kΩ, then proportionally the 12V drop across R3 would correspond to a 6KΩ resistance. If you drop 2V per 1KΩ, and your total resistance is 12KΩ then, your E is 24V. I'll let you go from there.
