How do I increase the load (24V/3A) for Velleman MK111 interval timer??

I have built the Velleman MK111 interval timer. The current max load the timer can switch is 24V/3A. I would like to increase this value to 15A. I have found this diagram. I am very much a beginner so would appreciate a little walkthrough.

Thanks!

First, you need to choose a relay to control the load. You said it had to be rated for at least 15A, but what kind of load (inductive, resistive, etc.) and what voltage, AC or DC?

I am using the timer to switch a garden pump on/off. The pump I am using is a submersible pump and I'm guessing its inductive. It is AC voltage.

If the motor is switched on and off frequently you should consider a solid-state relay. They are somewhat more expensive but should last indefinitely.
