Hi all,

Can anyone please explain how 360 degrees phase shift is achieved with an RC Ladder circuit. I am aware that the three RC ladders each produce a shift of 60 degrees but where does the remaining 180 degrees come from?

Can anyone please explain?

Many Thanks.

The other 180 degrees usually comes from a transistor inverting stage.

I have used this cct in a wah wah pedal for an electric guitar.
The output of the transistor is fed back through 3 RC's and boosts the input signal at the 180 degree frequency point.
