Ive got a new idea. I want to build a homemade laser rangefinder and the only problem I have with it, is that I dont know how

The guy at the end of the topic had a good idea (not that I did understand it), but they agreed that it might work.

Can you tell me how I can make a Laser range finder that works out to 1000 meters? Less can do it, but it would be a nice feature to have it working out there.

I know you can buy laser rangefinders, so it can be made. Just how they do it I dont know.

Hope you can kick in with some good ideas for this.
