I have my free bus pass which I use regularly , and I trust this much appreciated arrangement will continue with any future UK government.

I do however use the hatchback 1.4 Chevy Aveo for our supermarket trips every fortnight though.

Thats the problem with the states, without a high speed rail the metro transit systems suck because they fall into the socialist part of our gov. Now busses and all that do work somewhat but really don't in a tropical location. In the summer we measure heat in dead old people who attempted to walk to the store, and dead police dogs that over worked themselved and needed more then the manual's 1 gallon a day suggestion. So down here while the suns shining we all horde in our cars or houses. PS this post is not a joke.

Capitalism; The rich guys deciding how they will screw the poor guys.

Democracy; The rich guys electing the powerful guys then both decide how to screw the poor guys.

Communism; The powerful guys deciding how to screw the poor guys.

Dictatorship; One powerful guy deciding how to screw the poor guys.


I'm sensing a theme here... It doesn't pay to be one of the "poor guys".

 

The reality: replace "the poor guys" with "everyone else".
