I have a problem on designing an amplifier with a high voltage gain using only two transistor (FET and BJT).

Don't miss fig 1 link as it is easy to overlook.
This amp has a voltage gain of about 1500--add an emitter resistor to the entire gain block and the gain may be reduced as required.

 

Wasn't sure if this was request for high voltage amplifier or high gain amplifier.

what should be the input voltage? is it any value or there must be a specific value to obtain high voltage gain in fig.1?
