Is the supply linear or is it a switcher? Linears are easy, but switchers are not. I ran into IBM's first back in 1970, and have had very little success ever since. I have one now that keeps blowing up a filter capacitor. The part numbers are per contract, rather than in the catalogs, so getting replacements is about impossible.
One possible way out for you is to accumulate several dead receivers, and try to take parts from one to fix another. Without schematics, you will need to be lucky.
