That supposed screen isn’t real either it’s just a semi glossed piece of plastic glued onto the housing to appear as a screen I removed it and learned that. I’ve attached some pictures hopefully I did it correctly as this is my first time making a post here. Any help is greatly appreciated thanks!

I'd ask whoever has visited you if they lost something.

Might be a music player (from the headphone symbol and the high/low/off switch).

Can you get a better picture of the black chip in the first picture, or at least read off the letter/numbers on there?
As a first guess, it's some sort of wireless receiver for... something. Probably not a FM radio, because those don't typically have a "reset" button.

It might be half of a wireless headphone set, the receiver. You would "scan" to find the mating transmitter. No sure what reset would be for in that scenario.

Hmmm... On second thought I think those batteries are too small to run the radio and drive headphones for any useful time.

I suspect the reset is to start over the scanning at the beginning of the FM band (87.5MHz)

Certainly. The datasheet says the typical current is 5.2mA. It probably lasts the few days' duration of a tradeshow.

Now that you say it, yeah, I actually have some like that -freebies given at trade shows.
