Ive got a massive problem, my internet is ruined, Ill explain now.

Ok at random times my 'dsl' and 'internet' lights will just shut off and stay off, after a few seconds the dsl will start flashing then go out again, UNLESS I go over to the phone and dial someone, Ive think its either my splitter or my provider, Telstra. Ive tried the internet on two computers and it happens on both. Any help? btw its a 'speedtouch' modem.

 

I fortgot to mention, that it has gotten worse lately the internet can barely hold out for a few minutes, and my phone makes static noises, at forst it would just interupt every now and then but now I cant even hear whoever it is who has called me it is so bad

 

Report the problem to your phone company. If your line is not free of noise, your modem can't make any more sense of the data than you can of your friends calling you.
