Help with strip board logic needed

Hello,

This is my first project and I'm getting myself a little confused with all the logic when trying to work out how to wire up the strip board.

The bottom part of the circuit is a capacitive discharge unit, which I'm building to power 2 solenoids. Rather then powering them directly I want to prevent them from burning out by accidentally holding the switch on and also so the rest of the circuit doesn't loose power when the solenoids are switched.

Can anyone see if my two diagrams are the same please? Everything to the left of the switches is what I'm trying to build at the moment.

I'm worried about my Diodes on the far right are they in the right place?

Thanks for any help.
Rhys

Have you considered software like Diptrace, Express PCB or Eagle for you schematics? It makes them far easier to read.

My favorite right now is Diptrace. It is extremely powerful and really easy yo use.
