Hello. I have taken a standard old 1kva microwave transformer and removed both coils. I want a 24v centre tapped primary and a 50v secondary and rated for about 500va. Can anyone please tell me the best gauge wire to use and the turns ratio? Any help would be truly appreciated. I hope it`s as simple as that. If not, well, that`s ok...
