I'm currently working on a project with anemometers but I have some problems. I'm not sure if I have connected the wires right so I hope that someone out there could help me.

So, could someone please have a look at my short circuit descripition and the technical specifications for the anemometer attached as PDF-files and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

At the second and last page of the "technicalspecifications.pdf" there is an illustration of the anemometer showing that "Pin 3: (red wire)" should be connected to "D.C. Power to sensor" and the "Pin 6: (black)" to "D.C. Ground". I'm not shure if I have got this part right!

I did not see a wire . P 6 to processer ground. All else looks good. A second openion is always good.

 

thanks for you're answer! I managed to get a signal from my interface to the computer. My setup was wrong due, but I got some help from LabView.

another question, what should I do with the "cable shield"?!

 

Tie it to processor ground.
