Hi,

I'm a new student of Electronics engineering trying to learn the basics right now. I would really appreciate it if any of you could direct me to resources on the net that explain any or all of the following concepts...

Fermi Dirac, Density of states, Doping, Generation and Recombination, Hall Effect, Continuity equations, diodes etc.

I guess what I am looking for is something that explains the very basic concepts of transport phenomenon in semiconductiors.

Thanks.

Hi ipal:
There is a wealth of information out there on the process which will have some explanations to your questions. Here is one place you might want to browsse through too.

Do a search on Silicon wafer Manufacturing process tutorials and you will be loaded with places.
Post back to as this begins to take shape as well, it is always good to have alternative explanations to things.

Hi,

Try looking here. This is a superb on-line textbook for semiconductor devices.

If you have any questions, post them as I can help a lot with semiconductor devices :)
