Your LEDs are shown the wrong way round but otherwise it looks OK to me. You'll be close to the 1.5A limit of the LM317 and you're definately going to need a meaty heatsink (1.5 x 5 = 7.5W). Stick a 0.1uF on the input of the LM317 and a 100uF or so on the output as per the datasheet recommendation.
