Im trying to build a basic current sensor with a diffamp.

My probleme is the signal is PWM through my shunt resistor. About 22V peak. What must i do with my diffamp to have an continous output signal between say 0 - 5 V?

What about using a low-pass filter to obtain a continuous signal from the PWM?

 

Thanks for the reply. I got it to work eventually. Low pass filter did the job.

Just for curiosity...is there any other ways to measure the current?

 

Another way to measure current is Hall effect.

For example, an Allegro chip.
