I`m designing a half bridge DC-DC converter, the configuration is attached. As seen, it has two power MOSFET modules (SW12 and SW22) with an anti-parallel diode for each (D1 and D2).
Also is attached the diagram of internal configuration of these MOSFETs, and you can see that there are two extra diodes from the 'normal' intrinsic diode.
As I understand, the 'series diode', somehow 'eliminates' the intrinsic diode; and the parallel diode can be used as the anti-parallel diode shown in the converter diagram (D1 and D2). Am i understanding this right?
The information for this build-in parallel diode in the datasheet (that meets the voltage and current requirements that is needed for the design) makes me think that another diode module isn't necessary as these can be used for D1 and D2.
