heya guys

ive had my shipment of parts yesterday and ime trying to regulate voltage for my fan control,

now i never worked whit the LM317T befour but looking up the pinout and schematics on google made me feel like this was a walk in the park,

now thats the point where stufs get wierd,
i made my connections whit my pot from adj, to gnd and various resistors between adj and out, nothing seems to work and it just goos all out full power ahead, even tried a positive to adjust but no reaction, its just doing nothing at all,

now at this point ime frustrated as hell at somthing seemingly simple so ime hoping at a good awnser to somthing i havnt noticed :)

I recommend you get a look at the attached diagram below.
Now, I don't know if you need an adjustment of fan speed depending on the temperature but if yes, then schedule posted below is a good place to start.

donpetru,
Your schematic diagram has a number of problems which will prevent it from working properly, and it is difficult to read/interpret.

More positive voltages belong near the top of the drawing, more negative towards the bottom.
Inputs should come from the left, and outputs go towards the right.
Your resistors' values are far too high, and are connected at the wrong points.
