I'm looking at this circuit and I'm not sure about c2. it says 4700 16v, but 4700 what? uf? pf? is there a standard assumption for capacitors?

It's probably uf. I remember my professor in one of my electronics courses telling the class that capacitors often have the unit of microfarads in capacity.

OK thanks. thats kind of what I figured it had to be, but I never like to assume.

hi,

if that is 4700pf then the voltage rating should have been at least 50v not 16v :)
