My problem is connection of different coloured wires to the new touch sensor in a bedside table lamp. This is the correct replacement unit.

The sensor has four wires - red, white, black, and yellow(which is the "earth" ).

Power input cable has two - blue and brown

Connection to the lamp(s) has two- red and white.

Please advise which colours are connected (via twist top plastic) to which.

Thanks in advance

I am tempted to make a guess based on standard color codes, but there would a good chance that trying that you would blow up your new touch sensor. I think it would be best for you to contact the lamp manufacturer for the details of how to connect your sensor.

If it's the correct unit, can you not contact the MFGR?
