Hi all,

I'm dealing with this project which requires me to build a circuitry to drive a H-bridge MOSFETs.

As I'm inexperienced, i was wondering the high & low side driver "http://www.irf.com/product-info/datasheets/data/ir2110.pdf" can serve my purpose.

I'm dealing with a 230Vac/50Hz input. This H-Bridge MOSFET is suppose to serve as a two-direction converter:
(1) rectifying and filtering 230Vac to DC source
(2) inverting a DC source(Battery) to 230Vac,50Hz approx.

Please advice.

Is the requirement to produce a working circuit?

What experience do you have? What direct experience do you have with FET's? And what power levels do you expect to handle?

What is the advantage to the use of an H bridge with FET's to rectify AC over a diode bridge?
