Hi. I am teaching a hands-on science class at the American Space Museum in Titusville, Florida. This month I am doing my class on electric current and magnetism. I planned to use an Oudin Coil, but the one I ordered got back ordered, and the other two companies that offer the device charge much more, and neither one can have it to me in time.
I thought I might build one instead. I am needing a schematic, and maybe some guidance here.
I have built a couple of game show consoles, so do have limited understanding and ability to build electronics from a schematic.

A Tesla coil is very close to the same thing so buying a Tesla coil kit might be a good alternative.
