Can anyone guide me. I am totally new to PICs microcontroller,
I have been assigned to complete this project with in a month to make 24 hours real timer with pic. The objective of this project is to make a real timer 24 hrs with pic in such a way that inputs to pic are power on and off button and 24 dip switches each switch corresponding to the complete one hour of a 24 hours . and output is a wire connected to a relay . PIC has to check after power button is turned on which hour of day it is and then check the corresponding dip switch state wether it is on or off if it is on then PIC has to connect to output relay for one complete hour and if off then disconnect to output relay for an hour. After an hour it has to check the stae of next dip switch and do the same thing. PIC has to do this for complete 24 hours and then repaet the same procedure on next day and for a whole year.
There are series of PICs and i dont know which to select and which compiler to use.
I want to program the the pic with C of which have understanding
