I need to design a transistor amplifier which has voltage gain of 30 @ 100 MHz. Since this is a higher frequency, I think I have to consider about the current gain - bandwidth product (fT) too.
I hope to use 2N2222 (fT = 300MHz) or PN3563 (fT = 600 MHz) NPN transistor for the design.
The problem is do I really need to consider the fT for my design?
If yes, how I need to calculate the resistor and capacitor values (in voltage divider bias)? Is it OK to do the calculations as we do in small signal calculations?
