I know the general setup and items but I want someone to help me with the parts and ratings so I don't mess it up. Please Help I am only a first year engineer.

I am making this for a prop. The main goal is to push a switch and then have an arc jump to trigger some pyrotechnics.
It is a switch for a flaming book.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

If you are working with an experienced pyrotechnician he or she will know where to buy an igniter. If you are not working with an experienced pyrotechnician, maybe it is a good idea to obtain the services of one.
